Dear Friends,

As the year comes to a close, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our clients, partners, and supporters worldwide for your collaboration and shared commitment to advancing digital transformation throughout 2025. For Cybastion, 2025 has been a defining year for our company, marked by significant growth, new partnerships, and bold execution as we advanced our mission to build resilient, sustainable digital ecosystems across Africa.

Here are a few highlights from 2025:

  • Digital Fast Track Launched. This year, we officially launched our signature Digital Fast Track program, an accelerated roadmap that delivers sovereign data centers, secure digital and cybersecurity solutions, and digital workforce training.
  • Scaled to new countries. We expanded our footprint into four African countries — Gabon, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Angola — and built a powerful consortium of U.S. and local tech partners to accelerate world-class digital transformation.
  • Reached key milestones on digital transformation projects. Cybastion started construction on the national data center in Cote d’Ivoire and is making progress on efforts to modernize and digitalize the Ivorian Ministry of Finance and Industry. Our digital transformation projects in Benin and Burkina Faso have reached key milestones, and new projects will soon launch in Gabon and Guinea.
  • Introduced THEYA Foundation, Cybastion’s new philanthropic organization. In 2025, Cybastion launched the THEYA Foundation, a tech-driven philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing digital training and health innovations across Africa. The THEYA Foundation administers the Africa DigiEmpower, an ambitious digital training program, which held its first cohort in March in Côte d’Ivoire.
  • Trained thousands of young people through Africa DigiEmpower. Since the first cohort in March in Côte d’Ivoire, Africa DigiEmpower has delivered online and in-person training across 12 Ivorian cities, equipping more than 10,000 youth and women with in-demand digital skills. For three months, 1,824 young people participated in a Learn-a-Thon where learners were trained in AI, cybersecurity, and networking. After a rigorous competition culminating in 40 finalists, the winner was selected in mid-December. Next year, Africa DigiEmpower will expand to Gabon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Burkina Faso.

  • Unveiled Tech Academy. The Cybastion Tech Academy in Abidjan opened this year as a regional hub for tech training.  The Academy earned the distinguished designation as an official Cisco Networking Academy partner and Academy Support Center, which affirmed Cybastion’s role in cultivating the continent’s next generation of digital talent.

Looking ahead, Cybastion will continue to deepen collaboration, invest in local capacity building, and advance secure digital ecosystems that drive growth, innovation, and digital sovereignty. In a recent op-ed, I laid out a blueprint for expanding U.S.-Africa partnerships to shape the continent’s digital and economic future. We look forward to continuing this work together in the new year.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

Warm wishes for a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
