To enhance transparency and public safety in law enforcement, the Cybastion-Benin team trained officers from the Beninese Republican Police and Customs on using body camera technology to strengthen accountability and transparency in their daily policing activities.

By equipping police with body camera technology, Benin’s Republican Police and Customs will bolster the operational efficiency and effectiveness of law enforcement operations and foster greater trust between law enforcement and the community.

Beninese police officers using the new body camera technology will be trained in how to responsibly record interactions with the public. The body camera recordings will improve evidence collection during police activities. It will also provide data to help law enforcement respond effectively to incidents.

The body camera technology is reshaping how law enforcement interacts with the public and enforces the law and is a tool for building stronger relationships between security services and the citizens.

The body cameras are equipped with 4G/LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity that allows for real-time integration with centralized command centers.

Through this partnership, Cybastion is supporting the Government of Benin to strengthen its public safety infrastructure and national security framework.
