Construction began in May on Côte d’Ivoire’s “Digital City,” an innovative digital hub designed to expand connectivity, modernize government services, and accelerate the country’s digital transformation.
Anchored by a sovereign data center, the Digital City, located in Grand-Bassam, will create a vibrant digital ecosystem for smarter, faster, and more inclusive e-government services and innovation hubs that boost entrepreneurship, drive job creation, and contribute to the local economy. The Digital City will also equip young people with tech skills to build a digital workforce.
The first phase of the project began with the construction of the data center, which will serve as a cornerstone of the country’s digital sovereignty.
Through strategic partnerships with the Ivorian government and U.S. stakeholders, Cybastion is helping to build a sustainable, secure, and innovative digital ecosystem for the region.
Stay tuned for progress updates on the data center’s construction.
