Founded in 2025, the THEYA Foundation—Technology, Health, and Education for Young Africans—is a tech-driven philanthropic organization that equips youth and women across Africa with the digital skills and health innovations to thrive in today’s global economy.

A nonprofit organization of U.S. tech leader Cybastion, THEYA administers the Africa DigiEmpower program, an ambitious digital workforce initiative designed to meet the demand for professionals skilled in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and computer programming by training hundreds of thousands of youth and women and creating pathways to jobs and entrepreneurship.

Partnerships are at the heart of our work. THEYA is reshaping U.S.–Africa philanthropy through a locally led, capacity-first model. Aligned with a country’s national priorities, we partner with African ministries, universities, U.S. embassies, and the private sector in the United States and Africa to strengthen local capacity, certify in-country trainers, and deliver a measurable impact.

In health, the foundaton will soon launch programs that enhance health care delivery and outcomes and introduce innovative solutions that improve access, quality, and resilience.
