Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji signed a partnership agreement in early-March with the Angola Telecom to explore boosting Angola’s access to internet connectivity.

Angola Telecom CEO Adilson Dos Santos signed on behalf of the company. The partnership agreement signing took place on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, held March 3 – 6 in Barcelona. MWC 2025 is the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event.

In 2024, the World Bank cited that some 47% of Angola’s population has access to the internet.  The partnership agreement would strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure by expanding scalable internet connectivity, including a subsea cable, and advanced telecommunications.
