Cybastion Leads U.S. and Ivorian Investor Delegation to Côte d’Ivoire National Data Center

Cybastion led a delegation of U.S. and Ivorian institutional investors, development finance leaders, and private sector executives on a visit to Côte d’Ivoire’s National Data Center to highlight investment opportunities in the country’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure sector.

The delegation included representatives from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), African Development Bank Group, Corporate Council on Africa, Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Côte d’Ivoire Officiel, and investors from the Institutional Investor Network (IIN).

Cybastion is a member of IIN, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing institutional investments into African markets.

The July 10 site visit was part of IIN’s Africa Investment Roadshow, which connects U.S. institutional investors with high-growth investment opportunities to deepen commercial and economic ties between the United States and Africa.

EXIM has backed over $100 million in financing guarantees for Cybastion to construct the national data center and digitization of government services in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Africa Investment Roadshow, held July 6–10, coincided with Côte d’Ivoire’s launch of its National Development Plan 2025–2030, which prioritizes infrastructure, industrialization, digital transformation, and private sector-led economic growth.

During the site visit, Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji Ketchiozo, outlined how the National Data Center will serve as the foundation of Côte d’Ivoire’s sovereign digital infrastructure. The national data center will advance secure government e-services, cybersecurity, and AI-powered digital solutions to move the country toward digital sovereignty.

A team from Ivorian-based Porteo Group, who is partnering with Cybastion to build the national data center, showed delegation members the progress on the data center construction.

The investor delegation explored how public-private collaboration and innovative financing can accelerate the deployment of critical digital infrastructure across Africa.

The investor visit underscored Cybastion’s role as a systems integrator partnering with governments, U.S. technology partners, and financial institutions to deliver secure, resilient, and sovereign digital ecosystems in Africa.
