Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji and Chief Operating Officer Andre Biyong have been named among Africa’s “Top 100 Players in Cybersecurity”, recognizing them as two of the continent’s most influential leaders in strengthening cybersecurity resilience and digital transformation.
The annual list published by the Ciberobs – Make Africa Safe Association identifies key contributors from across Africa’s cybersecurity landscape for their efforts in shaping the future of the continent’s digital security. The selection process is based on rigorous evaluation criteria, including technological innovation, research, awareness raising, training initiatives and project impact.
This year’s list marks the 5th anniversary of Ciberobs’ mission to strengthen cybersecurity across Africa. The expanded list of 100 influential figures underscores the sector’s growing importance on the continent and a demand for a resilient digital ecosystem.
Under their leadership, Cybastion has emerged as a global tech leader delivering digital and cybersecurity solutions in Africa, working in partnership with African governments to ensure protection of information systems and electronic assets on a national scale.
“Trust and security are paramount in the current digital landscape, so it is such an honor to be named among Africa’s leading cybersecurity professionals, particularly in a year where our collective efforts have gained renewed momentum,” said Dr. Wandji.
Since its founding in 2019, Cybastion has positioned itself as a competitive player in the global digital economy and has established investment agreements with more than 10 countries across Africa, which deliver cybersecurity solutions that protect countries from the ever-evolving cyber threats.
Biyong emphasized: “This recognition is a testament to Cybastion’s mission to enhance digital resilience and security across Africa for greater growth and prosperity.”
