Cybastion-Burkina Faso is on-site and gearing up for #DigitalWeek2024 from November 12-15 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
Digital Week brings together African and global tech leaders, government officials, and industry experts to work toward building a connected, sustainable, and equitable digital future. This year’s theme, “Digital transformation and economic development: challenges of FinTech,” seeks to advance inclusion and resilience through digital advancements.
Throughout Digital Week, the Cybastion-Burkina Faso team will be present at a booth and networking space that showcases its digital and cybersecurity solutions and fosters B2B connections for potential partnerships. The Cybastion-Burkina Faso team will also deliver a keynote address and participate in a series of thematic sessions on Nov. 15, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Cybastion has a robust digital footprint in Burkina Faso. The National Public Key Infrastructure project (PKI), a partnership between Cybastion and Burkina Faso’s National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI), was launched in early-October. Cybastion has partnered with Burkina Faso since 2020 to strengthen its cybersecurity by reducing cybersecurity breaches and protecting the country against cybercrimes.
In collaboration with the Burkina Faso Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Cybastion will lead in the creation of a Center of Excellence in Ouagadougou. This center will provide training for students pursuing a master’s degree and certification in cybersecurity.
