Cybastion, en partenariat avec l'ambassade américaine de Côte d'Ivoire, a officiellement lancé le camp technologique DigiEmpower Easter Break avec une cérémonie d'ouverture festive avec L'ambassadrice américaine Jessica Davis Ba et Thierry Wandji, PDG de Cybastion .

Parmi les participants à la cérémonie d'ouverture figuraient également Dr Patrick Fouda , associé directeur de Cybastion pour l'éducation et directeur exécutif de la Fondation Theya Dr Geneviève Fouda , and the foundation’s team.

Opening April 17, the free tech camp will run from April 22–24. The tech camps, hosted at five American Spaces across Côte d’Ivoire, offer hands-on training in “Computer Hardware Basics”, “Introduction to Cybersecurity”, and “Introduction to IoT and Digitalization” through Cisco Networking Academy. Students who successfully complete one or all courses will receive Cisco-verified digital badges.

With an estimated 5 million digital jobs needed in Côte d’Ivoire by 2030, DigiEmpower—a partnership between Cybastion, Cisco, and the Government of Côte d’Ivoire— is an ambitious initiative that aims to train 200,000 young people and women across the country within five years.
