The company specializes in land surveying, cadastre, topographic, and geospatial activities, utilizing drones, scanners, satellite and advanced mapping technologies to improve land administration.
The Cybastion team facilitated partnership opportunities for CGEDS with Harvard University’s Center for Geographic Analysis and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to support efforts in digitizing land surveying, improving tax collection, and advancing urban planning in Côte d’Ivoire.
CGEDS, which was commissioned by the Government of Cote d’Ivoire, after the successful completion of The World Bank-sponsored proof of concept, to extend its digital surveying capabilities nationwide.
CEGDS is now expanding the capabilities of its geographic information system (GIS) to streamline land registration, tax collection, and GPS-based land administration for all local and national administrations and agencies. The data collected will help support infrastructure planning, including school construction, road development, and economic growth analysis.
CGEDS is establishing a partnership with Cybastion to develop new tools and platforms. The partnership will also train the expected 100,000-member workforce that will benefit from the new capabilities and staff generated by this opportunity. This includes equipping surveyors with digital tablets to conducting land surveys more efficiently to providing new services across the administrations and for other stakeholders.
By leveraging advanced technology and strategic partnerships, Cybastion is supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s digital transformation in geospatial technology, which will strengthen the country’s ability to modernize land administration and infrastructure development.
