Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji participated in a commercial diplomacy trip from Nov. 3-5 to Dakar, Senegal, organized by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of African Affairs, to discuss how U.S. tech solutions can advance Senegal’s ambitious hashtag#digitaltransformation goals and strengthen U.S.-Senegal ties.

Dr. Wandji joined Assistant Secretary Molly Phee and U.S. private sector leaders, where the U.S. delegation met with Senegalese Minister Alioune Sall to explore partnership opportunities and build on Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s recent visit to Silicon Valley.

Several members of the President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA), of which Dr. Wandji is a member, were part of the U.S. delegation.
